My Mums birthday quilt

I made this for my Mums birthday.  I stitched in the ditch around the patterned fabrics and did a free motion stitch on the self coloured fabrics to emphasise the ziz zag pattern of the patchwork.

Anniversary Quilt

 I made this for my daughters first wedding anniversary 

 Most of the fabrics I used were from the Monaluma Organics - Modern Home range of fabrics which I purchased from Seamstar.co.uk

I upholstered my chair

It was an old dining room chair so I decided I would brighten it up for my sewing room / guest bedroom.  I was delighted with the finished result. 

Mothers day gift

My mum just loves shopper bags so she was very pleased with this one.  She phoned me a couple of days after Mothers day and said she was all set to use her new bag but it was raining so had decided she didn't think she should take it out in the rain.  So just took her old one.  She is so lovely.
